Aerodrome Guides

Aerodrome guides provide operational guidance and recommended VATSIM procedures for major Pakistani airports. These guides are intended to help both pilots and controllers understand local operations, preferred runway usage, taxi procedures, SID usage, VFR operations, and general aerodrome practices commonly used within the VATSIM Pakistan FIR.

Available Guides

Southern Pakistan

  • Karachi / OPKC
    Jinnah International Airport guide covering runway operations, taxi procedures, RNAV departures, VFR traffic handling, and local ATC practices.

Central Pakistan

  • Lahore / OPLA
    Allama Iqbal International Airport guide including preferred runway operations, low visibility procedures, circuit operations, and departure handling.

Northern Pakistan

  • Islamabad / OPIS
    Islamabad International Airport guide covering CAT III operations, terrain-sensitive procedures, VFR circuit operations, and standard IFR departures.
